She was predeceased by: her husband Marvin Wright; her daughter Sue Thomas; her mother Beatrice Vance Benningfield; and her brothers, Hugh Benningfield, J. G. "Bunt" Benningfield, Jim Benningfield and Alton "Latch" Benningfield.
She is survived by: her grandsons, Corey Lynn Norton (Dustin) of Mt. Washington and John "Paul" Thomas of Mt. Washington; her great grandchildren, Simon Norton and Maggie Norton; and her son-in-law Gordy Thomas.
