He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Kreen Gover and Pauline Smith Gover; his grandson David Lambert Waddell; and his siblings, Martha Gover Safford, Flora Gover Miller and John Kreen Gover.
He is survived by: his spouse Dora Edith Fitzgerald Gover; his children, Judith Anne Gover Waddell (Greg) of Bowling Green and Robert Joseph Gover Jr.; his wife Margo Gover of Cumming; his grandchildren, Nicole Robinson (Joshua), Eric Waddell (Michelle), Ryan Waddell (Amy), Bobby Gover, Courtney Eller (Drew), Cameron Gover (Jessica), Caitlin Murphy (Cole), Harrison Gover and Hamilton Gover; his brother David B. Gover (Misha); his sister-in-law Alice B. Fitzgerald; and also John David Gover (Beth) of Bowling Green. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
