She was predeceased by: her parents, Estil Payton and Lue D. Embry Payton Houseman; her husband James Barbour; and her siblings, Ruby Ilene Craft, Roberta Berry, Dorcas Pansy Lunsford, Jimmie Eli Payton and James Payton.
She is survived by: her children, Vanesia Tucker (Robert), Theresea Kerr and Tommy Cummings (Bonita); her siblings, Florene Payton Johnson of Caneyville, KY, Midge Keller, Carol Darlene Tuttle, Martha Jane Bratcher and Truman Jackson Payton of Louisville, KY; and her grandchildren, Lori Grant, Anthony Cummings, Justin Tucker, Kristy Wheeler, Kennetha Tucker, Savannah Tucker, Johnny Wayne Cummings and Lelania Jane Graham. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
