He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Warren and Anna Bernice Hardesty Staples; and his siblings, Charlotte Kaehler and Tommy Staples. He is survived by: his children, Angie Huffman (Thomas Stokes) of Shepherdsville and John Warren Staples (Margie) of LaGrange; his siblings, Paula Sue Huddleston (Alan) of Georgetown, Indiana and Gene Staples (Townya) of Magnolia; the mother of his children Kathy Staples of Shepherdsville; and his grandchildren, Nolan Major, Josh Harp, Madi Hughes, Hannah Huffman, Aiden Huffman and Miley Staples.
