He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Granville and Mary Lucy Thompson DeSpain; and his siblings, Iris Jeanette DeSpain, Edna DeSpain, Lewis DeSpain, Jerry DeSpain and Calvin DeSpain.
He is survived by: his siblings, Susie DeSpain of Mt. Sherman and Ron DeSpain of Mt. Sherman; his nephews, Ronnie DeSpain (Crystal) of Bardstown, Billy DeSpain of Mt. Sherman and Donnie DeSpain of Mt. Sherman; and his sisters-in-law, Elva DeSpain of Mt. Sherman and Jeanettia DeSpain of Hodgenville. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the family to help with funeral expenses and may be made at the funeral home.
