He is survived by: his wife Patricia Dean Cook Shaffer; his children, Donna Shaffer of Illinois and Roger Shaffer (Lisa) of Illinois; his daughter-in-law Cecilia Shaffer; his grandchildren, Kelli Aho (Brian) and Anderson Shaffer; and his siblings, Greg Walker of Wisconsin and Rinde Walker of Michigan.
