He was predeceased by: his son Roger; his parents, Chester Shoffner and Amy DeSpain Shoffner; and his brothers, Lawrence, Micky, Ruel, Coy and Thomas Shoffner.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Kennedy Shoffner; his children, Treisa Monday (Dave) of Washington, Shelia Ford of Buffalo, Robin Shoffner of Elizabethtown, Laticia Baker (Michael) of Elizabethtown, Garnett Dale Shoffner (Deborah) of Elizabethtown, Eddie Shoffner of Magnolia and Cody Shoffner of Sonora; and his siblings, Betty McGarry (Jim) of Arizona, Faye Bray of Burkesville, Ronnie Shoffner (Norma) of Buffalo, Denny Shoffner (Marilyn) of Buffalo and Larry Shoffner (Emma) of Mount Sherman. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
