He was predeceased by: his parents, George Puckett of Washington and Robelia Hawkins Puckett; and his siblings, Hubert, Douglas, Buiel, Houston Puckett, Mabel Brent, Ada Whitlow, Georgina Magness and Audrey Puckett.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Kathryn Pennington Puckett; his children, Teresa Brackett (Ruel) of Upton, Marilyn Brooks (Carlie) of Magnolia, Eric Puckett (Sheila) of Leitchfield and Vickie Bales (Joey) of Sonora; his sister Helen Hines of Magnolia; and his grandchildren, Mark Brackett, Tina Propes (Kevin), Scotty Brooks, Kelly Brooks, Kayla Ernst (Caleb), Cory Bales (Lea), Lindsey Rice (Michael), Crissy Rowland and Craig Hodges (Kristy). He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
In light of the ongoing pandemic, the family requests that all visitors wear a face covering and practice social distancing.
