He was predeceased by: his wife Bessie Fern Thompson Overly; his parents, Kenneth Overly and Birdie Kyle Overly; and his grandson Robert Curtis Eppers. He is survived by: his children, Gayle Robbins of Hodgenville, Cynthia Richardson (Tracy) of Center Point, Iowa and Jeffrey Overly (Diane) of Fort Madison, Iowa; his grandchildren, Michael Eppers, Tabitha Underwood Rojas, Abigayle Montgomery, Nova Richardson, Amanda Osborne and Robert Richardson; and his brothers, Jerry Overly of Iowa and Harry Overly of Missouri. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
