It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wilma Cunningham of Madisonville, Kentucky, who passed away on February 11, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid Wilma farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Wilma is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert "Bob" Farmer and Ada Walker Farmer; her husband John Edward Cunningham; and her children, Michael Wayne Cunningham and Carol Lynne Cunningham.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Dillingham (Roger) of Madisonville and Thomas "Ray" Cunningham of Madisonville; and her brother Bobby Farmer (Dorothy) of Madisonville. She is also survived by four grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home (2285 N Main St, Madisonville, KY 42431). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
