William Whitledge Obituary
We bid farewell to William Whitledge of Madisonville, Kentucky, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 28, 2024 at the age of 84. William touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emma Corum and Rayburn Whitledge; his cousin Sharon Ashby Melton; and his brother-in-law Don Moore, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Gail Burrows Pritchett Whitledge; his children, Jane Whitledge Gilliam (Tony) of North Carolina, Will Whitledge (DeeDee) of Florida and Sarah Whitledge Jernigan of Virginia; his grandsons, Andrew, Joseph, Nathaniel and Benjamin Gilliam; his sisters, Carol Whitledge Moore and Nancy Whitledge Malone (Phil) of Owensboro; his cousin William Corum; his mother-in-law Barbara Burrows; and his sisters-in-law, Carrie Bearden (Jim) of Louisville and Amy Beckham (Scott) of Louisville.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (200 E Center St, Madisonville, KY 42431).
