He was predeceased by: his parents, Loyd Lee and Ruby Dixie Roalin Wix; and his brothers, David Franklin Wix and Carl Gene Wix. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his daughter Missy of Madisonville; his siblings, Charles Wix (Gloria) of Mayfield, KY, Johnny Wix (Libby) of Earlington, KY, Eve Owens (Louie) of Mortons Gap, KY, Ruby Kiscaden of Earlington, KY. and Lucian; and his sister-in-law Sandra Love. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Abundant Grace Fellowship (360 S Main St, Madisonville, KY 42431). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
