It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Edward Dillingham of Madisonville, Kentucky, who passed away on February 12, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire his loved ones, keeping Thomas Edward's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was predeceased by: his parents, West Dillingham and Sarah Ruby Brothers Dillingham; his wife Shelby Jean Dillingham; his son Thomas A. Dillingham; his grandchildren, Matthew Dillingham, Mark William Dillingham and Jennifer Hand; and his great grandchild Bella Marie Dillingham.
He is survived by: his children, Damon Dillingham (Linda) and Marquetta Gibson. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many close friends.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mt Carmel Church Cemetery (11504 Mt Carmel Rd, White Plains, KY 42464).
In lieu of flowers, gestures of sympathy may be shown with a loving donation in Tom's memory to Unity in Christ Church, 750 Wicks Well Road, Madisonville, KY 42431.
