It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Stephen Slaton of Madisonville, Kentucky, who passed away on December 7, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Stephen may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Stephen touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Slaton, Jr. and Genevieve McRoy Slaton; and his daughter Kristy Slaton. He is survived by: his wife Anita Slaton; his cousins, Laurie Vandiver and Janet Kunnecke; and also, Cyndie and Kevin Tucker.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home (2285 N Main St, Madisonville, KY 42431).
