He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Kennedy and Anna Miller Kennedy; his siblings, William Otis Kennedy, Elmo Irvin Kennedy, Ruby Ellen Adams, Mary Jane Ray and Betty Lou Kennedy; his niece Elizabeth Vannoy; and his great-niece Rosemary Baker.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael Wayne Kennedy and Roy Robinson Kennedy Jr.; and his sister-in-law Phyllis Kennedy of Madisonville.
