As we bid Rosie farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Rosie is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Hill and Edith Adkins Hill; and her daughter Donna Faye Johnson. She is survived by: her husband Lonnie W. Johnson; and her sons, Steve Johnson of Anton, KY, Randall Johnson (Karen) of Madisonville, Robert Johnson (Ginger) of Calhoun, KY and Gary "Paul" Johnson of Franklin, KY. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home (2285 N Main St, Madisonville, KY 42431). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
