Mada L. Carney Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 4, 2025, at the age of 68, Mada L. Carney of Madisonville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Mada is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Mada's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Hope A. Carney; her parents, William T. Logan, Sr. and Doris L. Logan; and her brothers, William T. Logan, Jr. and James R. H. Logan, Sr..
She is survived by: her siblings, Edward S. Logan Sr. (Brenda) of Madisonville and Evelyn Prather (Glenn) of Henderson; her granddaughter Da-Keia Mosley of Madisonville; and her sisters-in-law, Antionette Logan and Cozette Logan of Madisonville. She is also survived by nephews, nieces and other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Eastview Missionary Baptist Church (159 E North St, Madisonville, KY 42431). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Browder's Church Cemetery.
