She was predeceased by: her parents, A. O. Richards and Nellie Green Frazer Richards; her husband Jerry L. Martin; and her sister Gayle Richards Davis. She is survived by: her daughters, Robyn Richardson (Garland) of Dalton and Cheree Ball of Hallsville, MO; her stepsons, Preston Martin (Ashley) of Savannah, GA and Alan Martin of San Fransisco, CA; her sister Cindy Richards Wright of Dalton; and her grandchildren, Emmy Rudd (Mason) of Nashville, TN, Alexa Ball of Columbia, MO, Sanchez of Charlotte, NC, Ryan Ball of Columbia and Zach Ball of Columbia.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home (2285 N Main St, Madisonville, KY 42431). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Dalton Cemetery Fund or the Dalton Alumni Memorial Scholarship Fund.
