It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Richard Owen (Madisonville, Kentucky), born in Canada, Kentucky, who passed away on December 17, 2018, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sisters, Myrna Earl and Verna Gage. He is survived by: his children, Robert Spina of Las Vegas, NV, Randy Owen of Idaho Falls, ID, Mike Spina (Denise) of Las Vegas, Kelly Spina of Las Vegas, Kevin Owen of Las Vegas, Richard Owen (Pam) of Madisonville and Kathy Downey (Ken) of Madisonville; and his siblings, Deborah Thornton (Gray) of Las Vegas, Diane Huntsman (Steve) of Las Vegas and Larry Owen of Las Vegas. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
