We are sad to announce that on February 15, 2025, at the age of 80, Jerald Wayne Stirsman of Madisonville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lola Gladys Adkins Stirsman and Hubert Altha Stirsman; and his siblings, Kenneth Stirsman, Alpha Stirsman, Jr. of Russell Stirsman, W. A, Ronnie "Papa Bear" Stirsman, James "Jimmy" Stirsman, Marjorie Jennings, Linda Bagby and Betty Favell.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred Capps Stirsman; his daughter Sherry Stirsman Towe (Mark) of Dawson Springs, KY; his stepdaughter Allison Graven (Erick) of Louisville, KY; his siblings, Robert Stirsman, Jeanette Pearson and Mary Helen Oakley; his grandchildren, Tyler Towe (Kelley) and Carrie Hallum (Justin); and his great grandchildren, Freya Towe and Jace Hallum. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Harris Funeral Home, Inc. (134 N Main St, Madisonville, KY 42431). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at the Yeargins Chapel Cemetery (5736 US-62, Greenville, KY 42344).
