He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Taylor Marks and James Powell Marks; and his sister Sandra Kay Wheeler. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Gipson Marks; his children, Michael Marks (Kristie) of Madisonville and Kimberly Staup (Paul) of Findley, OH; and his grandchildren, Kenzie Marks of Madisonville and Caleb Marks of Madisonville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Harris Funeral Home, Inc. (134 N Main St, Madisonville, KY 42431). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at the East Lawn Cemetery (5715 Island Ford Rd, Hanson, KY 42413).
