James Carroll Gibson Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Goldie Irene Jones Hughes and Omer Gibson; his wife Sue Gibson; his children, David Wayne Gibson, Karen Long and Lori Kapchinsky; and his brothers, Raymond Gibson and Carl Gibson.

He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Rager (Joseph) of Madisonville, Lisa Candy (Randy) of Broken Arrow, OK and Tony Gibson of White Plains, KY; his son-in-law Michael Long of White Plains; and his sisters, Mary Evelyn Alexander, Nancy Jones Zungia and Shirley Ann Bowles. He is also survived by several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Harris Funeral Home, Inc. (134 N Main St, Madisonville, KY 42431). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at the Concord Cemetery - White Plains (5248 White Plains Rd, White Plains, KY 42464).
