He is survived by: his wife Thresa; his children, Ivori Lynn Hinton and John Waring Hinton (Jack); his siblings, Herbert Baxter, Jeffrey Waring Hinton (Jay) and Cecile Noel Mitchell; and his grandchildren, Eric "Rusty" Hinton, Delilah Hinton and Caroline Hinton. He is also survived by his step-children, step-grandchildren, and several nieces.
