He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Alvin Nelson and Colleen Long Nelson; his brother Thomas Martin Nelson; and his son Jason Allen Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Mary Alice Nelson; his son Jarrod Bradley Nelson; his granddaughter Rachael Nelson; and his brothers, Charles Alvin (Linda Nelson), William Bernard, Shannon Nelson, Tony Lee Nelson and Wendell Bruce (Teresa Nelson). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home (2285 N Main St, Madisonville, KY 42431). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
