Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Douglas Gene leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Cartwright Eades and James Locke; and his daughter Dena Gatlin. He is survived by: his son Brad Locke of Madisonville; his fiancée Lois Ford of Madisonville; his granddaughters, Ashlyn Harrell of Madisonville and Shalyn Locke of Madisonville; and his great grandchildren, Brileigh Locke of Madisonville, Kaisley Harrell of Madisonville, Willow McKay of Madisonville and Tallyn Harrell of Madisonville.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Harris Funeral Home, Inc. (134 N Main St, Madisonville, KY 42431). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens (336 McLeod Ave, Madisonville, KY 42431).
