It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles Dodds of Madisonville, Kentucky, who passed away on December 15, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Raymond Dodds and Carolyn Glenn Dodds; and his brother Glenn Dodds. He is survived by: his wife Beryl Dodds of Madisonville; his sons, Richard Dodds (Emily) of Portland, OR, James Dodds (Carey) of Madisonville and Michael Dodds (Sunny) of Madisonville; his brothers, Raymond Dodds (Becky) of Huntingdon, TN and Robert Dodds (Carolyn) of Port Angeles, WA; and his grandchildren, Drew Dodds (Emma), Jack Dodds, Sam Dodds of Madisonville, Charlie Dodds, Oliver Dodds of Portland, OR and Jessica Martin of Princeton, KY. He is also survived by two great grandsons, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM and from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (200 E Center St, Madisonville, KY 42431). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church Department of Music or the Womens Triangle Recovery House.
