He was predeceased by: his parents, Ella Merle Davis LeGrand and Henry Sherman LeGrand; his wife Judith "Judy" Fenwick LeGrand; and his brother Larry Ray LeGrand. He is survived by: his sons, Steven Lester Salmons (Cynthia) of Ohio, Billy Joe Salmons of Madisonville, Jerry Lee Salmons (Frances) of Madisonville and Gary Wayne Salmons (Tracey) of Slaughters, KY; and his siblings, Richard Wayne LeGrand (Karen) of Earlington, KY and Debbie Marie Mather (Jay) of Alabama. He is also survived by several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and four nieces.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Life Apostolic Church (1630 S Main St, Madisonville, KY 42431). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery (1213 Rose Creek Rd, Madisonville, KY 42431).
