It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Brenda F. Faughn of Madisonville, Kentucky, who passed away on January 16, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William T. Gibson and Hallie A. Hawkins Gibson; and her siblings, Beatrice Cunningham, Betty James, Ruth Ezell, John W. Gibson, Kenneth Gibson, Bobby Gibson, James Gibson and Billy Gibson.
She is survived by: her caregiver Henry B. Faughn; her daughter Tammy Lyn Faughn Carr; her son-in-law John Daniel "Dan" Carr; her pets, Daisy Faughn and Skit Carr; and her sisters-in-law, Elaine Gibson and Becky Gibson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and grandnieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Harris Funeral Home, Inc. (134 N Main St, Madisonville, KY 42431). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at the Olive Branch Cemetery (400 Olive Branch Church Rd, Hanson, KY 42413).
