He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Algia Taylor; his sister Rosa Mae Doleman; his niece Charlene (Willie); and his nephews, Roger, Ronald and Reginald. He was also cherished by great-great nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mason and Sons Funeral Home (409 E Noel Ave, Madisonville, KY 42431). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Eastside Oddfellows Cemetery (805 W Center St, Madisonville, KY 42431).
