Florence Catherine Brown Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Florence Catherine Brown of Maceo, Kentucky, who passed away on October 25, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Mills and Gertrude Edge Mills; her husband William Lee Brown; and her siblings, John, Joseph, Herman, George, Ora, Archie Mills, Jean Varble, Maryann Mayfield, Ellen Roby and Betty Poole.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Stallings (David), Larry Brown, Steve Brown (Joy), Debbie Smith (Kevin), David Brown (Robin), Tommy Brown (Susan), Joey Brown (Denise), Connie Boehman (David) and Ricky Brown; and her sisters, Rose Wall and Margaret Boarman. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, thirty-nine great grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren.
A prayer was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM at the Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory (900 Old Hartford Rd, Owensboro, KY 42303). Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Sts. Joseph and Paul Catholic Church (609 E 4th St, Owensboro, KY 42303).
