He was predeceased by: his parents, John Parker and Nellie Parker; his wife Patsy Helen Parker; and his siblings, Linda Strange and David Parker.
He is survived by: his sons, Jimmy, Cary and Brian Parker; his stepchildren, Kenny Powers, Tina Higdon and Mike James; his brother Steve Parker; and his half-sister Rosetta Lashley.
