He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Stephens Sr. and Willie Lee Adams Stephens; and his brothers, Ed, Willie Lee, Reggie and Terry Stephens.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Libbie" Scott Stephens of Lynch, KY; his children, Aza Reggie Young (Ericka) of Sunshine, KY, Marcus Stephens (Mickey) of Richmond, KY, Ryan Boggs of Lynch, KY, Shannon Stephens of Lexington, KY, Ashley Ellington of Washington, DC, Nick Cornett of Richmond, KY, Terrance Stephens of Lynch, KY, Carlee Stephens (Cade Barnes) of Nicholasville, KY and Gracen Anderson of Richmond, KY; his sisters, Wornetta Everett of Detroit, MI, Kathy Bard of Detroit, MI and Gloria Daniels of Detroit, MI; and his close friends, Susan Collett, Bailey Taylor, Becky Lewis Banks, Juanita Halcomb, Tiffany Brock, JoJo and Karissa Austin. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
