He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Barbus and Stella Barbus (Zawacki); and his former wives, Shirley and Bonnie. He is survived by: his wife Etta Bruner Barbus of Lynch; his children, Jeff Barbus (Carol) of Michigan, Kristin Barbus (Scott), Judy Cornett (Tim) of Cumberland and Tracy Dixon (Mike) of Barbourville; his siblings, James Barbus of Australia and Nancy Widman (John) of Michigan; and his grandson Jacob Cornett. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
