He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Chanley and Frances Lynn; his brothers, Gary and Frankie Lynn; and his grandson Billy "BJ" Betz.
He is survived by: his wife Gladys Chanley; his children, Pam Birkofer, Angie Betz (Billy), Sharon Whiteley (Billy), Mona Eldridge and Earl "Lee" Chanley, Jr.; his brother Jackie Lynn; his grandchildren, Greg Cansler, Mike Cansler, Scott Cansler, Brett Betz, Derek Betz, William Whiteley, Melanie Ernst, David Schwabe, Travis Schwabe and Kelsey Mardis; and his great grandchildren, Shelby, Dylan, Natalie, Bria, Annalee, Tommy, Joey, Eli Leroy, William V, Isabella, Olivia, Owen and Jett.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home (316 Elm St, Ludlow, KY 41016). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North (205 Eibeck Ln, Williamstown, KY 41097).
