He is survived by: his wife Mary Britt Jewell; his children, Penny Young (Tony), Sandy Bates (Brian) and David Jewell (Lea); his grandchildren, Beverly Jewell, Britt Young (Kara), Brandy Pedigo, Casiday Jewell, Bryson Young (Becca) and Sara Bates; his great grandchild Brody Young; his sisters, Sherry Elmore and Vicky Lile; and his cousin Tommy Garrett (Carolyn). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
