He is survived by: his wife Hazel Farley Simpson; his children, April Simpson and Eric Simpson; his grandchildren, Brayden Simpson and Tryndon Simpson; his cousin Amber McClain of Rose Hill, VA; his nephew Kevin; his close friends, Jeff Roark, Harlan, Megan Ison and Becky Brock; and his pets, Lyla and Ryker.
