With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Murrel Virginia Castle of Lowmansville, Kentucky, born in Louisa, Kentucky, who passed away on January 7, 2022 at the age of 93. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Edwards and Nolda Charles Edwards; her husband Hershel Castle, Sr.; her siblings, Shirley Edwards, Mae Patrick, Martha Lyons and Bud Edwards; and her grandchildren, Brian Thompson and Selena Green.
She is survived by: her children, Ronnie Castle (Judy), Earl Castle, Hurshel Castle Jr. (Josie), Patsy Clark (Mickey), Kathleen Thompson, Wilma Blevins (Ray), Phyllis Pigg (Michael), Saundra Hall (Greg) and Dena Hampton; and her caregiver Donna Blevin. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
