He was predeceased by: his father Ernest Preston; and his son Jeffery Castle. He is survived by: his wife Mary Kirk Preston; his stepson Charles Patrick Castle; his granddaughter Natasha Castle (Punkin); his great grandchild Nicollette Castle (Nikki); his cousin Phil (Carolyn Pruitt); and his siblings, Charles Russell Preston (Dickie), Robert Hunley (Bobby), Sharon Boyd and Carlene Fletcher.
