She was predeceased by: her brother Eugene Carl Phillips. She is survived by: her husband Clifford Varney; her children, Denton Varney (Nicole) of Raccoon and Christina Ball (Mike) of Lowe's Branch, Kentucky.; her grandchildren, Paige, Gauge, Gracie, Khloe, Aubree, Waylon, Cade and Cole; her siblings, Vickie Collins of Melvin, Kathern Collins of Hazard, Kentucky and Russell Johnson of Wheelwright; her niece Toni Collins of Melvin; and her nephew Hazy Varney.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 6:00 PM and on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Son Funeral Home (703 Hambley Blvd, Pikeville, KY 41501). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at the Varney Family Cemetery (815 Lowes Branch, Pikeville, KY 41501).
