He was predeceased by: his grandmothers, Martha Norwood (Vandle James) and Catherine DeGeorge (James Sr.). He is survived by: his mother Cathy Norwood; his wife Lisa DeGeorge; his daughter Sarah DeGeorge; his father William V. DeGeorge, Sr.; his close friends, Chris and Jeremy Herndon; his parent-in-law Makiko Matsumoto (Etsuo); and his pet Candy. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

The family requests that contributions in Vince's memory be made to Kentucky Humane Society or National Kidney Foundation.
