He was predeceased by: his daughter Joyce Engleman; his parents, Marvin Nelson and Mabel Florence Gaddie; and his siblings, Harold, Don, Scotty, Harvey, Paul, Leslie, Betty Ray and Buck Gaddie.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Trent Gaddie; his children, Karen Bobbitt (Jim), David Gaddie (Diana) and Terry Gaddie (Stephanie); and his stepdaughters, Teresa Jessie (Wendell) and Patty Campbell. He is also survived by grandchildren; and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Fern Creek Funeral Home (5406 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40291). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Funeral Fern Creek Funeral Home (5406 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40291).
