William Payton Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Payton (Louisville, Kentucky), who passed away on September 4, 2019 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Huett Payton and Elsie Payton (Snellen); and his sisters, Louise Smith, Eunice Mann, Patsy Richey, Letha Metcalf and Freda Payton.
He is survived by: his wife Jane D. Payton; his son Clay Payton (Amy); his sister Rena Harden; his nephew Layne Smith (Mary); and his brother-in-law Richy Wyman. He is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions in Shorty's memory be made to Hosparus.
