He is survived by: his children, Beverly Maclin (Neiman), Carol Bennett Brown (Woody), John H Bennett (Jane) and William "Billy" Bennett Jr.; his grandchildren, Katie Maclin Deppe (Ross), Carrie Brown, William Bennett (Abby), Matthew Bennett (Maddie) and Lillian Bennett; and his great grandchildren, Makenzie Maclin Deppe, John B Bennett and Lincoln Bennett.
A burial was held on Tuesday, December 24th 2024 at the Resthaven Memorial Park (149 Breckenridge Ln, Louisville, KY 40207).
