We bid farewell to William C. Schmitt of Louisville, Kentucky, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 7, 2025 at the age of 93. William touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Schmitt and Helen Schmitt; and his sisters, Dorris Lively and Beverly Dunn. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his daughters, Kathy Patterson (Darell), Julie Thompson (Rick), Carol Emmons (Steve), Linda Slaughter, Tammy Walsh (John), Lisa Evans (Galen), Angie Schwendau and Amy O'Dell (Arnold); and his brother Tony Schmitt. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.
