We are sad to announce that on January 30, 2025, at the age of 82, Walter Frandsen (Louisville, Kentucky), born in Sioux City, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Frandsen and Rose Frandsen; his in-laws, Charles and Roberta Schaefer; his siblings, Leo Frandsen (Rachel), Bill Frandsen and Irene Van Houton (Bud); and his brothers-in-law, Bob Schaefer, Tom Fisher and David Schaefer.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Ann Frandsen; his daughters, Christina King (Rob) and Janet Denny (JD); his grandchildren, Jacob Lush, Anna Fernandez (David) and Ben Lush (Abby); his great grandchildren, Abby and Taylor Lush; his sister Mary Schultz (John); and his in-laws, Karen Frandsen, Sharon Fisher, Doris, Charlie Schneider, Gary, Susie Schaefer and Sandy Schaefer.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home (4400 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of Walt can be made to Hosparus Health or St. Jude.
