He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Thomson Temple and William Noah Temple; and his siblings, William, Robert, Donald and Shirley Masden.
He is survived by: his wife Grace Haas Temple; his children, Tom Temple (Karla) and Pam Temple-Jennings; his grandsons, Hunter Jennings, Nathan Temple and Evan Temple; and his sister Deanna Temple Mobley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Crestwood United Methodist Church (7214 Kavanaugh Rd, Crestwood, KY 40014).
He also served on the boards of the Mallory Taylor Foundation, the Wilborn Foundation, and the Kentucky United Methodist Foundation, where he was its longest-serving member.
