He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley Packer and Helen Barney; his wife Michele Packer; his brother John Wesley Packer; and his uncle Alfred Stallworth.
He is survived by: his sons, Antwan Thompson, Thomas Packer Jr., Terrence Packer and Dion Toogood; his siblings, Herbert Packer (Margaret), Carl Packer, Tyrone Packer, Sandra Tiller, Doris Packer and Bernadette Brown; and his grandchildren, Autumn Thompson, Aniston Thompson, Joshua Varble, Mariah Robertson and Marissa Robertson.
