He was predeceased by: his sister Barbara Peck; and his brother-in-law John Peck. He is survived by: his parents, Andrew Gies and Helen Gies (Bell); his wife Rebecca Gies; his sons, Thomas Jordan Gies, Guillermo Lee Gies (Alexandria), Aaron Thomas Gies and Andrew Jesse Gies; his grandchildren, Diana Gies, Guillermo Gies, Jr., Noah Gies, Matteo Gies, Rylee Terrell, Reese Terrell, Russell Terrell and Raelyn Terrell; his siblings, Carolyn Donato (Luke), Suellen Warner, Jayne Woodring (Jim), Andrew Gies, Jr. (Lynn) and Carl Gies (Kendra); and his pet Roxy. He is also survived by Nieces, Nephews, Great-Nieces and Nephews, Friends.
The family requests that contributions in Thomas's memory be made to Shawnee Baptist Mission Programs.
