She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Heselschwerdt and Gayle Heselschwerdt (Whelan); her stepmother Juanita Threlkel Heselschwerdt; and her in-laws, Jesse and Lavada Johnston.
She is survived by: her husband Billy Joe Johnston; her daughter Rebecca Johnston; her siblings, William Heselschwerdt (Lisa), Keith Heselschwerdt (JoAnn) and Shelly Werner (Tony); and her sister-in-law Janice Johnston. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
