She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Knoop and Anna Knoop; and her husband Morris John Shine. She is survived by: her daughter Sharon Melton (David); her grandchildren, Heather Atkinson (Craig), Jonathan Melton and Charles Melton (Ollie); and her great grandchildren, Brinley, Carter and Holly Atkinson.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kraft Funeral Service (2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, IN 47150). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
